These pads do not require warm up but do get even stronger under the heat of hard driving. These are not a low dust pad and if your desire is for a low dust premium street use pad, you should consider EBC Redstuff. When considering full race use, Yellowstuff has been a strong favourite, having been used for two years in the Swedish Camaro Cup and at numerous other race events where a stock caliper system is fitted. It is also the choice of 90-percent of the Mazda MX5 Miata competitors in the UK race series and has an unblemished record as rotor friendly track pad for vehicles up to 2000 lbs weight or 200 BHP.In the USA the SCCA and NASA drivershave been testing Yellowstuff with feedback and good reports POURING in from a 543 test driver major market proving event with these groups. Read that figure again 543 test drivers. There is no guesswork here.
Pad Dimensions: 148 x 59 x 17mm

Zero Fade Race Developed Compound

Brakes Effective Right From Cold

Can Be Used On Street/Race Track

Better High Speed Stopping

High Friction Pad

Brief Description: EBC Yellowstuff DP4872R front brake pads are engineered for drivers who demand strong braking performance on both the street and the track. Their aramid fiber-based compound delivers high friction from cold, so the pads do not require warm-up before providing effective braking. Under hard driving and elevated temperatures, the compound becomes even more resistant to fade.

Developed as a street-and-track brake compound, Yellowstuff is designed to provide improved high-speed stopping performance while remaining rotor friendly when properly installed and maintained. The compound has been used in competition applications with stock caliper systems and is well suited to performance vehicles where consistent braking response is important. These are performance-oriented pads and may produce more brake dust than a premium low-dust street compound such as EBC Redstuff.

Zero Fade Race Developed Compound: Designed to maintain braking performance during repeated high-temperature stops.

Effective From Cold: Delivers responsive braking without requiring a warm-up period.

Street and Track Capability: Suitable for dual-purpose vehicles used for daily driving and performance events.

High-Speed Stopping Performance: High-friction material supports strong deceleration during demanding driving.

Key Product Specifications & Technical Data:

Brand: EBC

Part Number: DP4872R

Product Type: Front performance brake pad set

Friction Material: Aramid fiber-based Yellowstuff compound

Application: Street and track driving

Brake Position: Front axle

Vehicle Application: 1997 Acura CL 3.0

Pad Quantity: One vehicle set

What's Included: One set of EBC Yellowstuff DP4872R front brake pads.
