A rail fitting is important piece  of hardware on a boat. A rail base connects the rails itself to the deck of your boat. You can find rail bases in a variety of angles, from 90 degree round bases to 30 -60 degree rectangular bases.  Rail fitting let you build a rigid bow, stern and cabin top handrail. Rail fittings components can accommodate the many configurations possible on a boat.  Rail fitting are made from two materials: zamak ( a zinc-aluminum alloy) and type 316 stainless steel.
