Refund policy
RETURN POLICIES:
DIY Customs offers a return period of 30 days from date of receipt. Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) numbers are required for all returns. All returns must be complete in original packing to receive full refund amount. Special Order items may not be returned. Opened and/or unsealed DVDs, CDs, and cartography are not returnable unless defective. Units requiring service, either warranty or otherwise, should be returned directly to the appropriate manufacturer. To obtain an RMA number, please send an email to onlinesales@teamnutztechnology.com or call 412-882-8346 and be sure to provide the original invoice number, product being returned, and the reason for return. Returned merchandise may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 15%; please contact the RMA department for details.
Refunds can take up to 4 weeks. In most cases refunds are issued sooner. This 4 week period includes the transit time it takes for us to get your return (5-10 business days), the processing time once we’ve received your return (3-5 business days), and the time it takes your financial institution to process the refund request (5-10 business days).
Credit for returned items will be applied to the credit method that was used to make the original purchase. Returns will be applied to the purchasing credit card within 5 to 10 days of the date that the return is accepted by DIY Customs.
Please note: Delivery fees will only be refunded if the return is a result of a defective product, products described inaccurately, or orders that are incorrect by fault of DIY Customs. Customers that order items by mistake are the financial responsibility of the customer.
When returning a product, we recommend using a trackable shipping.
REFUNDS, CREDITS AND BALANCES DUE:
DIY Customs will notify you via email as soon as we receive and process your return. Typically, your credit card will be credited within 10 business days of receipt of email. The return credit should be reflected on your statement within one or two billing periods, depending on your financial institution's billing cycle.
