The reality is that inflatable kayaks are a great choice for casual paddlers and certain types of kayaking. While they might not perform as well in certain conditions as others, they are much more affordable option for beginners to experience the wonders of kayaking.  Stand up paddle boarding (SUP) is a hybrid of paddling and surfing, that can be enjoyed in a variety of  bodies of water like in surf zones, flat oceans, canals, lakes, rivers, and inland waterways.
