Collection: Watersports - Ski/Wakeboard Ropes
Ski rope are designed to stretch slightly as the skier is in their turn, not to stretchy just enough to not jolt the skier. Wakeboard ropes are the exact opposite and are built to have no stretch at all. Water ski ropes tend to stretch more than a wakeboard rope. Ski ropes tend to have more stretch to them to absorb more shock when the skier crosses the wake. Most ski ropes are made from Polypropylene. Wakeboard tow ropes are usually made of one of three materials: Poly E, Spectra, or Dyneema. These three materials have various features and thus, differ in functionality. Make sure you have the correct rope for the job.
