• Allows engine to run cooler
• Lightweight

The Acerbis skid plate provides dependable under-engine protection for Suzuki DR650 motorcycles used on trails, gravel roads, and other demanding terrain. Designed for a snug fit, it helps prevent mud, dirt, rocks, and debris from collecting between the skid plate and the engine while maintaining practical access for cleaning, maintenance, and oil changes.

Its lightweight construction is quieter than many aluminum skid plates and does not affect frame rigidity or flex. The design also allows the engine to run cooler compared with more enclosed protective systems. A simple mounting system supports straightforward installation and removal, making routine service more convenient. The black finish complements the motorcycle while providing durable protection for vulnerable lower-engine components.

This Acerbis skid plate, part number ACB2421150001, fits the 1996–2005 Suzuki DR650SE and is also specified for the Suzuki DR650S application. It is a practical alternative to more expensive aluminum or carbon fiber units for riders seeking effective protection without unnecessary weight or added noise.
