ACT - act600475 - XACT Flywheel Prolite

600475 is a Prolite flywheel, which is ACT's lighter flywheel offering with lowest inertia. Prolite flywheels are designed for best throttle response and acceleration. Prolite flywheels are preferred for road racing or rally racing, and have reduced drivability. Materials are properly distributed for maximum strength, good heat tolerance and rigidity. ACT flywheels are serviceable and can be resurfaced with no need to purchase additional parts. The ACT XACT Flywheel Prolite is a lightweight flywheel designed to deliver improved engine response and acceleration. Its low-inertia design is intended for best throttle response and is recommended for race use, including road racing and rally racing. The reduced inertia may result in mild to moderate gear rattle and reduced drivability.

Constructed from a heat-treated forging, the flywheel provides strength, toughness, heat tolerance and rigidity. Its one-piece construction supports uniform heat transfer from the clutch disc while reducing the opportunity for warped inserts or loose ring gears. The induction-hardened ring gear is designed for extended service life.

The flywheel is forged, CNC machined and dynamically computer balanced for smooth, high-RPM reliability. ACT flywheels are serviceable and can be resurfaced without purchasing additional parts. The product is backed by ACT's stated one-year warranty.
