The chrome-moly hub is heat-treated for strength and durability. Rivet design and materials are carefully selected for maximum strength. Each diaphragm undergoes a four-stage heat-treating process for consistent performance, while precision-stamped pressure plate covers improve rigidity and assembly consistency. The pressure plate is 100% clamp-load tested and dynamically computer balanced to support smooth, reliable operation at high engine speeds.

The performance street rigid-hub disc uses premium organic friction material with high copper content for improved heat transfer and reduced fade. Its steel-backed lining enhances burst strength and durability, while the heat-treated chrome-moly hub provides additional strength for demanding applications. Carefully selected rivet designs and materials maximize disc integrity. The rigid-hub design is optimized for faster shifts and race-proven response, though it may increase gear rattle and spline wear compared with a sprung-hub disc.
