Each diaphragm undergoes a four-stage heat-treating process, while precision cover stampings provide improved rigidity and consistent performance.

The kit includes a 6-pad, spring-centered race disc designed to damp torsional vibrations and resist failure under harsh driving conditions. Select ceramic friction materials provide high heat tolerance and strong performance during demanding launches and repeated high-load use. The aggressive engagement characteristics support faster shifting, although engagement is harsher than an organic-style clutch and may produce mild gear rattle. The sprung center helps improve drivability by absorbing torsional vibration.
