T1RS-B02 Mod-Twin 225 HD Sprung Race Kit performs aggressive launches and smoother shifting in high powered AWD’s by combining twice the ceramic friction surfaces with an ultra-durable Mono-Drive sprung hub assembly in a completely modular design. Each diaphragm spring endures an exclusive four-stage heat treating process providing a consistent light pedal feel. Puck-style Friction Plates with high quality ceramic friction materials deliver high friction coefficient, superior heat capacity, and long clutch life. These Friction Plates uniformly transfer torque to a Mono-Drive sprung hub assembly which extends input shaft life and reduces driveline shock from torsional vibration. This kit includes a CNC-machined and dynamically balanced flywheel, pressure plate cover, diaphragm spring, face, puck-style ceramic friction plates, sprung Mono-Drive hub assembly, floater, patented Monoloc Collar, release bearing, alignment tool and pilot bearing (if needed). Mod-Twin clutches are fully rebuildable and most components can be ordered separately. This modular twin-disc clutch combines dual ceramic friction surfaces with an ultra-durable Mono-Drive sprung hub assembly to improve power transfer while helping reduce driveline shock caused by torsional vibration.

Each diaphragm spring receives ACT's exclusive four-stage heat-treating process for consistent clamp load and a comparatively light pedal feel. Puck-style ceramic friction plates provide a high friction coefficient, excellent heat capacity, and long service life under demanding drag, road, or rally racing conditions. The forged aluminum cover, hardened wear points, dynamically balanced flywheel, and close-tolerance construction support predictable engagement and high-temperature performance. Some start-off judder and mild to moderate transmission gear noise may occur due to the race-oriented design.

The ACT Mod-Twin 225 HD Sprung Race clutch is fully rebuildable, with many components available separately for long-term serviceability. Every assembly is clamp-load tested, balanced, and SFI certified. The kit fits select BMW 3.0L Turbo B58 applications from 2016 through 2018, including the BMW 340i, 340i xDrive, BMW M240i, BMW 440i, and BMW 440i xDrive, as well as the 2017 BMW M240i. It also supports 2022 through 2026 Toyota GR Supra applications when matched to the appropriate vehicle configuration.
