T1SS-B01 Mod-Twin 225 HD Sprung Street Kit is designed for high powered AWD street cars. It unites uncompromised pedal feel, durability, engagement quality with very high torque capacity by combining twice the organic friction surfaces with an ultra-durable spring center Mono-Drive hub in a completely modular design. Each diaphragm spring endures an exclusive four-stage heat treating process providing a consistent light pedal feel. Steel-backed Friction Plates with high quality organic friction materials deliver stable friction coefficient, good heat capacity and long clutch life. These Friction Plates uniformly transfer torque to the Mono-Drive sprung hub assembly which extends input shaft life and reduces driveline shock from torsional vibration. This kit includes a CNC-machined and dynamically balanced flywheel, pressure plate cover, diaphragm spring, face, puck-style ceramic friction plates, sprung Mono-Drive hub assembly, floater, patented Monoloc Collar, release bearing, alignment tool and pilot bearing (if needed). Mod-Twin clutches are fully rebuildable and most components can be ordered separately. The ACT T1SS-B01 Mod-Twin 225 HD Sprung Street Kit is engineered for high-powered BMW AWD street cars using the 3.0L turbocharged N54 or N55 engine. This twin-disc clutch system combines high torque capacity, refined engagement, durable construction, and consistent pedal feel in a fully modular, serviceable design. Its dual organic friction surfaces provide smooth street manners while supporting demanding performance applications.

Each diaphragm spring receives ACT's exclusive four-stage heat-treating process to maintain consistent clamp load and light pedal effort. Steel-backed friction plates use premium organic friction material for stable friction performance, reliable heat capacity, and extended clutch life. The friction plates transfer torque through ACT's sprung Mono-Drive hub assembly, which helps protect the transmission input shaft and reduce driveline shock caused by torsional vibration. The system is designed for soft, progressive engagement, smooth shifting, and mild to moderate transmission gear noise.

The kit includes a CNC-machined and dynamically balanced flywheel, forged aluminum pressure plate cover, diaphragm spring, organic friction plates, sprung Mono-Drive hub assembly, floater, patented Monoloc Collar, release bearing, alignment tool, and pilot bearing when required. ACT Mod-Twin components are fully rebuildable, and individual service components can be ordered separately. Every unit is clamp-load tested, balanced, and SFI certified, and is supported by ACT's one-year warranty. This clutch fits select 2010–2011 BMW applications equipped with the N54 or N55 3.0L turbo engine, including the 135i, 335i, 335i xDrive, 335is, 535i, and Z4.
