AEM offers high quality stainless steel PSIa sensors in 15 (1BAR), 30 (2BAR), 50 (3.5BAR), 75 (5BAR) and 100 (7BAR). PSIa is referenced to absolute zero. Absolute zero is the pressure measurement when all the pressure exerted by the atmosphere has been removed. The most common use for absolute pressure sensors is reading manifold pressure. PSIa pressure sensors are required if you wish to measure vacuum. A PSIa sensor will read about 14.7 PSI when the sensing element is exposed to atmospheric pressure at sea level however they can be recalibrated to read zero at atmospheric and a negative number at values less than atmospheric pressure. 15 PSIa or 1 Bar Stainless Sensor Kit, Stainless Steel Sensor Body, 1/8-inch NPT Male Thread, Includes 15 PSIa or 1 Bar Stainless Sensor, Connector, Pins, 1/8-inch NPT to -4 Adapter & 1/8-inch NPT to 3/16-inch Barb Adapter
  • High-quality sealed sensor housings are virtually impervious to automotive fluids (360-degree welded wetted area)
  • Stainless-steel sensors accurate to within 1% of full scale (pressure sensors)
  • Analog Data Scaled in Charts
  • Connector and pins included

The AEM 1 Bar MAP or 15 PSIa Stainless Steel Sensor Kit is designed for accurate manifold pressure and vacuum measurement in automotive applications. Its absolute-pressure sensing range is referenced to a perfect vacuum, allowing the sensor to measure pressure below atmospheric levels. At sea level, the sensor typically reads approximately 14.7 PSI when exposed to atmospheric pressure, making it suitable for applications that require reliable vacuum and manifold pressure data.

Built with a stainless steel sensor body and a 1/8-inch NPT male thread, the AEM 30-2130-15 provides durable performance in demanding engine environments. The sealed housing features a 360-degree welded wetted area that helps protect the sensing element from automotive fluids. The pressure sensor is accurate to within 1% of full scale, supporting consistent readings for engine management, data acquisition, and performance monitoring systems. Analog data is scaled in charts to help simplify setup and calibration.

This kit includes the components needed for installation, including the sensor connector and pins, a 1/8-inch NPT to -4 adapter, and a 1/8-inch NPT to 3/16-inch barb adapter. The sensor can also be recalibrated to read zero at atmospheric pressure, with negative values displayed when pressure falls below atmospheric conditions. The AEM 1 Bar MAP or 15 PSIa Stainless Steel Sensor Kit is a practical choice for applications requiring a compact, fluid-resistant, absolute pressure sensor.
