AEM offer high quality brass PSIa sensors in 30(2BAR), 50 (3.5BAR) and 75 (5BAR). PSIa is referenced to absolute zero. Absolute zero is the pressure measurement when all the pressure exerted by the atmosphere has been removed. The most common use for absolute pressure sensors is reading manifold pressure. PSIa sensors are required of you wish to measure vacuum. A PSIa sensor will read about 14.7 PSI when the sensing element is exposed to atmospheric pressure at sea level however they can be recalibrated to read zero at atmospheric and a negative number at values less than atmospheric pressure. 50 PSIa or 3.5 Bar Brass Sensor Kit, Brass Sensor Body, 1/8-inch NPT Male Thread, Includes 50 PSIa or 3.5 Bar Stainless Sensor, Connector and Pins
  • Brass body, with high quality sealing which makes it impervious to fluids.
  • Weather resistant connector and pins included
  • Accurate with 3% margin for error.
  • Analog Data Scaled in Charts

The AEM 3.5 Bar MAP or 50 PSIA Brass Sensor Kit is designed for accurate manifold pressure and vacuum measurement in automotive applications. Its absolute-pressure sensing element references readings to absolute zero, making it suitable for monitoring pressure below atmospheric levels as well as boosted manifold pressure. At sea level, an absolute-pressure sensor typically reads approximately 14.7 PSI with the sensing element exposed to atmospheric pressure.

This AEM sensor features a durable brass body with high-quality sealing to help resist exposure to automotive fluids. The 1/8-inch NPT male thread supports straightforward installation with compatible fittings, while the included weather-resistant connector and pins simplify wiring. The sensor provides an analog output that can be used with compatible gauges, engine management systems, and data-acquisition equipment. With a stated accuracy within a 3% margin of error, it delivers dependable pressure data for tuning, monitoring, and diagnostic applications.

The AEM30-2131-50 kit includes the 50 PSIA, or 3.5 Bar, stainless-steel sensing element, brass sensor body, connector, and pins. Its analog data scaling is provided in charts for integration with compatible electronics. This automotive sensor is intended for applications requiring absolute pressure measurement, including manifold pressure and vacuum monitoring. Verify thread compatibility, electrical requirements, and calibration procedures with the receiving system before installation.
