The AEM 340 LPH High-Flow In-Tank Fuel Pump is engineered for high-performance gasoline electronic fuel-injection applications, including naturally aspirated and forced-induction vehicles. AEM part number 50-1000 delivers 340 liters per hour, equivalent to approximately 84 gallons per hour, at 40 PSI and can support engines producing more than 1,000 horsepower at 43 PSI under specified operating conditions. Each pump is individually tested before packaging to verify its rated fuel flow.
Designed for in-tank installation, the AEM 50-1000 features a compact 39 mm outside diameter that fits many fuel-pump applications and an offset inlet to simplify installation. Its single-scroll ceramic turbine impeller is designed for reliable fuel delivery, while the black-plated steel housing provides durable service. The pump is intended for gasoline use and includes a pre-filter, wiring harness, internal fuel hose, clamps, end cap, and rubber buffer sleeve. The included hardware is universal and may require application-specific installation considerations.
Electrical compatibility and fuel-system sizing must be verified before installation. Factory wiring may not support the pump's current requirements, so follow AEM's wiring recommendations and confirm correct electrical polarity at the tank connector. The universal pre-filter may not fit every vehicle; follow the vehicle manufacturer's filter replacement guidance. Do not modify a fuel tank to accommodate this pump. This product is not approved for carbureted applications and requires appropriate fuel-line, electrical, and system-capacity support for the desired horsepower level.
