AEM's 6 Channel CAN Sensor Module (PN 30-2226) provides an affordable and easy way to add temperature, pressure, fuel level, and tachometer signals on to a CD Carbon Digital dash through AEMnet CAN bus! It supports the Bosch CAN 2.0b standard, making it compatible with many third-party devices that accept a programmable CAN bus input, which also allows you to add additional channels to a non-AEM ECU, dash or logger. The 6 Channel CAN Sensor Module converts two analog temp channels, two analog pressure channels, a tach input and fuel level input to AEMnet CAN messages Fixed CAN bus speed, header length, and base address IP67 Potted Enclosure / Sealed Connector - "dust tight" and protected against water spray Protected inputs
  • IP67 Potted Enclosure / Sealed Connector - "dust tight" and protected against water spray
  • One (1) dedicated fuel level input (0 to 250 Ohm range)
  • Fixed CAN bus speed, header length, and base address
  • Two (2) dedicated 0-5V analog inputs
  • One (1) tachometer/coil input
  • Protected inputs

The AEM 6 Channel CAN Sensor Module, Part Number 30-2226, provides a practical way to add temperature, pressure, fuel level, and tachometer signals to a CD Carbon Digital dash through the AEMnet CAN bus. It converts multiple sensor inputs into programmable CAN messages, making it useful for motorsport data acquisition, display systems, and vehicle electronics installations.

Designed around the Bosch CAN 2.0b standard, this AEM module can also interface with many third-party devices that accept programmable CAN bus inputs. Its six-channel configuration includes two temperature-capable analog channels, two pressure-capable analog channels, one tachometer or coil input, and one dedicated fuel level input. This allows additional sensor channels to be added to a non-AEM ECU, dash, or data logger without replacing the existing control system.

The module uses a sealed, IP67-rated potted enclosure and connector to help protect the electronics from dust and water spray. Protected inputs improve durability in demanding automotive environments, while the fixed CAN bus speed, header length, and base address simplify integration with compatible AEMnet systems. The fuel level input supports resistance-based sending units, and the analog inputs accept common 0-5V sensor signals.

What's Included: AEM 6 Channel CAN Sensor Module, Part Number 30-2226. Wiring, sensors, and installation hardware are not specified and may need to be supplied separately. Confirm connector requirements, CAN configuration, and sensor compatibility before installation.

Fitment: Universal automotive and motorsport electronics application. This module is intended for vehicles and systems using a compatible AEMnet or programmable Bosch CAN 2.0b interface. Vehicle-specific fitment depends on the ECU, digital dash, data logger, sensors, and wiring configuration.

Features:

  • Six-channel signal expansion: Converts two analog temperature channels, two analog pressure channels, one tachometer or coil input, and one fuel level input into AEMnet CAN messages.
  • Bosch CAN 2.0b compatibility: Supports integration with AEM systems and many third-party devices that accept programmable CAN bus inputs.
  • Sealed IP67 construction: Potted enclosure and sealed connector help provide dust-tight protection and resistance to water spray.
  • Protected automotive inputs: Dedicated sensor inputs and fixed CAN communication parameters support reliable installation in demanding vehicle environments.
