The AEM 30-2224 8-Channel K-Type Thermocouple EGT CAN Module provides accurate, centralized temperature monitoring for performance vehicles, motorsports applications, and advanced engine management systems. This AEM temperature sensor module accepts eight common K-type thermocouple inputs and transmits all measured channels through a configurable CAN bus connection.

The module is pre-configured for AEMnet CAN bus plug-and-play connectivity with compatible AEM CD Digital Dashes, Infinity ECUs, and AQ-1 data acquisition systems. It is not currently compatible with Series 2 ECUs. Two modules can be daisy-chained to monitor up to 16 temperature inputs through a single connection. Cold-junction compensation supports lab-grade accuracy of plus or minus 0.15 percent of full scale, while integrated open-circuit and fault detection helps identify sensor or wiring issues.

The AEM 30-2224 measures temperatures from -328 to 2,501 degrees Fahrenheit with 0.18-degree Fahrenheit resolution. The kit includes the 8-channel CAN module, a 4-pin DTM-style connector plug, mounting Velcro, and installation instructions. K-type thermocouple sensors and DTM-style connection cables are sold separately. This product is intended for automotive use and is not CARB approved.
