AEM CD-5L Carbon Logging Flush Digital Dash Display, Part Number 30-5601F

AEM CD5 Carbon Flat Panel Digital Displays are perfect for flush mount installation or in-dash enclosures with tight tolerances. They include all of the robust features found in the original CD-5 Carbon car dashboard monitors, but do not have buttons or an LED shade hood built into the enclosure. AEM CD5 Carbon Flat Panel Digital Displays feature full-color, daylight readable screens surrounded by a slim, tough, lightweight flow-molded carbon fiber composite housing. Seven ultra-bright LEDs span the top of the display housings for RPM and shift light indication. Users can program them to ascend in specific increments based on RPM range and flash when it is time to shift. Brightness is user programmable on the fixed color LEDs. A remote button kit (PN 30-3610, sold separately) easily wires into the CD Carbon wiring harness and allows users to change pages and clear memory. Two additional programmable LEDs are included in the car dashboard monitor's enclosure and are fully programmable Flat Panel Digital Dash Display, CD-5L logging, non-GPS racing dash, CAN input only, 5-inch diagonal screen, carbon fiber enclosure, wiring harness included, Does Not Include Buttons (See PN 30-3610)

• Add Vehicle Dynamics Module for GPS, 3-axis gyroscope and 3 axis accelerometer for G-loads, roll, pitch, yaw, track mapping and lap timing (PN 30-2206, sold separately)

The AEM CD-5L Carbon Logging Flush Digital Dash Display is designed for flush-mount installations and in-dash enclosures with limited clearance. This non-GPS racing dash features a full-color, daylight-readable 5-inch screen, CAN input, integrated data logging, and a rugged flow-molded carbon fiber composite housing. Its 800 x 480 resolution, anti-glare filter, and 1000 cd/m² brightness help provide clear data visibility in direct sunlight.

The AEM 30-5601F includes seven programmable and dimmable LED indicators across the top of the display for RPM and shift-light functions, plus two additional programmable LEDs for user-defined alerts or events. Seven programmable pages support main display layouts, alarms, on-change data, and startup information. The dedicated alarm page, warning icons, user graphics, and customizable text allow the display to be configured for a wide range of racing and performance applications.

With 200 MB of internal logging capacity and recording rates up to 1,000 Hz per channel, the CD-5L can capture critical vehicle data for analysis. It accepts channels from AEMnet CAN-enabled devices and other CAN bus devices, while optional CAN modules and adapter cables support carbureted vehicles, pre-2008 factory ECU applications, 2008-and-newer factory ECUs, and select Holley, Link, MSD Atomic, and Vi-Pec systems. The included wiring harness supports installation, while the optional AEM remote button kit, part number 30-3610, is required for convenient page changes and memory clearing. GPS, vehicle dynamics, and additional sensor inputs require separately sold modules.

The display includes a headlight input for automatic nighttime dimming, two switch inputs for user-triggered events, an odometer function, IP66 water resistance, and compatibility with AEM DashDesign Graphics Editor software. The remote button kit is not included.
