AEM CD-5LG Carbon Logging Digital Dash Display with 10 Hz GPS, Part Number 30-5603

CD-5 Carbon Digital Dash Displays feature a full-color, daylight readable screen surrounded by a tough, lightweight flow-molded carbon fiber composite housing. Seven ultra-bright LEDs span the top of the display housing for RPM and shift light indication. Users can program them to ascend in specific increments based on RPM range and flash when it is time to shift. Brightness is user programmable on the fixed color LEDs. Two large buttons are included on the face of the display, allowing easy page changing and memory resetting even with driving gloves on. These button functions are included in the supplied rear connector, allowing the user to mount remote buttons. Two additional programmable LEDs are located above the toggle buttons on the top of the housing on either side of the integrated LED shift lights. 5-inch diagonal screen, carbon fiber composite enclosure, GPS antenna and wiring harness included

The 5-inch screen provides 800 x 480 resolution, 1,000 cd/m² brightness, and an anti-glare filter for clear viewing in direct sunlight.

Seven programmable and dimmable LEDs across the top of the housing provide RPM and shift-light indication. The LEDs can be configured to illuminate in specific increments throughout the RPM range and flash when it is time to shift. Two additional programmable LEDs support custom alerts and status indications. Large face-mounted buttons make page changes and memory resets easy while wearing driving gloves, while the supplied rear connector supports remote button installation. A dedicated alarm page, programmable warning icons, custom graphics, and user-defined text help provide clear access to critical vehicle information.

The CD-5LG accepts channels from two separately programmable CAN bus connections, allowing AEMnet and third-party CAN devices to operate together. It can also be installed on carbureted and pre-2008 stock ECU-equipped vehicles with the optional AEM 22 Channel CAN Sensor Module, part number 30-2212, or on 2008-and-newer factory ECU applications with the optional Plug & Play OBDII CAN Adapter Cable, part number 30-2217. Additional adapters are available for Holley, Link, MSD Atomic, and Vi-Pec ECUs. Integrated GPS supports vehicle speed, track mapping, and lap timing, while optional expansion with the AEM Vehicle Dynamics Module, part number 30-2206, adds GPS-enhanced vehicle dynamics data, including G-loads, roll, pitch, and yaw.
