CD-7 Carbon Digital Dash Displays feature a full-color, daylight readable screen surrounded by a tough, lightweight flow-molded carbon fiber composite housing. Seven ultra-bright LEDs span the top of the display housing for RPM and shift light indication. Users can program them to ascend in specific increments based on RPM range and flash when it is time to shift. Brightness is user programmable on the fixed color LEDs. Two large buttons are included on the face of the display, allowing easy page changing and memory resetting even with driving gloves on. These button functions are included in the supplied rear connector, allowing the user to mount remote buttons. Two additional programmable LEDs are located above the toggle buttons on the top of the housing on either side of the integrated LED shift lights. The AEM CD-7G Carbon Digital Dash Display, Part Number 30-5702, is a GPS-enabled, non-logging racing dash designed for drivers who need clear, configurable vehicle data in demanding motorsport environments. Its full-color 7-inch screen provides 800 x 480 resolution and 1,000 cd/m² brightness for direct-sunlight readability, while the anti-glare filter helps maintain visibility during daytime driving. The lightweight, flow-molded carbon fiber composite housing provides a durable enclosure with IP65 water resistance for open-cockpit, marine, and motorcycle applications.

The CD-7G accepts channels from two separate, user-programmable CAN bus connections, allowing AEMnet-enabled and compatible third-party devices to operate side by side. It can display data from compatible factory ECUs, sensors, and optional CAN modules, including additional EGT channels and vehicle dynamics data. This version includes GPS capability, a GPS antenna, and wiring harness but does not include the Vehicle Dynamics Module. The optional AEM Vehicle Dynamics Module adds GPS-based track mapping and lap timing along with 3-axis gyroscope and accelerometer data for G-loads, roll, pitch, and yaw.

Seven programmable and dimmable LEDs across the top of the housing provide RPM and shift indication, with two additional programmable LEDs near the face-mounted toggle buttons. The large buttons are glove-friendly and support page changes and memory resets, while remote button functionality is available through the rear connector. Seven programmable pages, customizable warning icons, user-defined text, alarm functions, switch inputs, an On-Change page, and free DashDesign Graphics Editor software make the AEM CD-7G adaptable to a wide range of racing data display requirements. Headlight input automatically dims the display and LEDs for nighttime operation.

Fitment: Universal motorsport application for vehicles equipped with compatible CAN bus systems. Carbureted and pre-2008 stock ECU-equipped vehicles require the optional AEM 22 Channel CAN Sensor Module. 2008 and newer factory ECU applications require the appropriate Plug & Play OBDII CAN Adapter Cable. Additional Plug & Play adapter cables are available for select Holley, Link, MSD Atomic, and Vi-Pec ECUs.
