AEM CD-7LG Carbon Digital Dash Display with Internal Logging and 20 Hz GPS – 30-5703F

AEM CD7 Carbon Digital Flat Panel Displays feature full-color, daylight readable screens surrounded by a slim, tough, lightweight flow-molded carbon fiber composite housing. Seven ultra-bright LEDs span the top of the display housings for RPM and shift light indication. Users can program them to ascend in specific increments based on RPM range and flash when it is time to shift. Brightness is user programmable on the fixed color LEDs. A remote button kit (PN 30-3610, sold separately) easily wires into the CD Carbon wiring harness and allows users to change pages and clear memory. Two additional programmable LEDs are included in the enclosure and are fully programmable. The AEM CD-7LG Carbon Digital Dash Display combines a full-color, daylight-readable racing display with internal data logging, GPS functionality, and extensive CAN bus compatibility. Part number 30-5703F features a lightweight, flow-molded carbon fiber composite enclosure, a 7-inch diagonal screen with 800 x 480 resolution, an included 20 Hz GPS receiver and antenna, and a vehicle wiring harness. The display is designed for demanding motorsports applications and provides clear access to critical engine, vehicle, and driver information.

Seven programmable and dimmable LEDs span the top of the housing for RPM and shift indication, while two additional programmable LEDs can display user-defined warnings or events. The 1,000 cd/m² screen with anti-glare filtering remains readable in direct sunlight, and the headlight input automatically dims the display and LEDs for nighttime operation. The IP66-rated enclosure is suitable for open-cockpit use and helps protect the electronics from dust and water exposure.

The CD-7LG supports up to seven programmable display pages, including main, alarm, on-change, and startup pages. Users can configure supplied layouts, create custom screens, add warning icons and graphics, and convert CAN channel values into user-defined text. The display accepts data from AEMnet and compatible non-AEM CAN devices, as well as factory ECU systems through available adapters. AEM sensor modules can add inputs for carbureted and pre-2008 stock ECU-equipped vehicles, while the optional Vehicle Dynamics Module adds GPS-based track mapping, lap timing, G-load, roll, pitch, and yaw data. Remote page-change and memory-clear functions require the separately sold AEM Button Kit, part number 30-3610.
