AEM CD-7LG Carbon Fiber Digital Racing Dash Display with GPS, CAN Input Only – 30-5703

CD-7 Carbon Digital Dash Displays feature a full-color, daylight readable screen surrounded by a tough, lightweight flow-molded carbon fiber composite housing. Seven ultra-bright LEDs span the top of the display housing for RPM and shift light indication. Users can program them to ascend in specific increments based on RPM range and flash when it is time to shift. Brightness is user programmable on the fixed color LEDs. Two large buttons are included on the face of the display, allowing easy page changing and memory resetting even with driving gloves on. These button functions are included in the supplied rear connector, allowing the user to mount remote buttons. Two additional programmable LEDs are located above the toggle buttons on the top of the housing on either side of the integrated LED shift lights. The AEM CD-7LG Carbon Digital Dash Display is a GPS-enabled racing dash designed for clear, configurable vehicle data presentation in demanding motorsports environments. Its full-color 7-inch screen provides 800 x 480 resolution, direct-sunlight readability, and an anti-glare filter for improved visibility during daytime driving. The lightweight, flow-molded carbon fiber composite enclosure offers a rugged housing with IP65 water resistance, making the display suitable for open-cockpit, marine, and motorcycle applications.

Seven ultra-bright, programmable LEDs span the top of the enclosure for RPM and shift-light indication. The LEDs can be configured to illuminate in specific RPM increments, flash at the desired shift point, and adjust brightness through the dash setup. Two large face-mounted buttons allow convenient page changes and memory resets while wearing driving gloves, while their functions can also be assigned to remote buttons through the supplied rear connector. Two additional programmable LEDs support custom event or warning indications.

The AEM CD-7LG supports two separate user-programmable CAN bus connections and includes seven configurable pages, including Main, Alarm, On-Change, and Start-up pages. More than 200 supplied SAE and custom warning icons, user-defined text, channel-based graphics, odometer functionality, and a dedicated alarm page provide extensive display customization. Included GPS antenna and wiring harness support installation, while the Vehicle Dynamics Module is not included. Add AEM Part Number 30-2206 separately for GPS-based track mapping, lap timing, G-loads, and roll, pitch, and yaw data. Carbureted and pre-2008 ECU-equipped vehicles can use the AEM 22 Channel CAN Sensor Module, while 2008-and-newer factory ECU applications can connect through the Plug & Play OBDII CAN Adapter Cable. The display is compatible with AEM DashDesign software and interchangeable layout files used by CD-5 Carbon displays.

Fitment and Compatibility

Designed for motorsports and custom vehicle installations using CAN data. Compatible connection options are available for select Holley, Link, MSD Atomic, and Vi-Pec ECUs. The Vehicle Dynamics Module, CAN sensor modules, and OBDII adapter cables are sold separately.
