The AEM X-Series Tru-Boost Controller Gauge combines electronic boost control and real-time boost monitoring in a single 2-1/16-inch gauge. Part number AEM-30-0352 includes an AEM boost control solenoid, an integrated 80 PSIg MAP sensor, boost hose line, wiring harness, and the hardware required for installation. All programming is completed through the faceplate buttons, so no laptop is required.

The AEM Tru-Boost supports two programmable boost levels plus a time-based scramble boost setting controlled through a switched input. Users can also configure wastegate open pressure to help reduce boost spikes and improve spool-up performance. Boost pressure can be displayed in PSI, BAR, or kPa, while the 24 green outer LEDs can be scaled to match the desired peak boost range. The gauge may also be used as a boost display when the controller function is turned off.

Built-in overboost protection disables the boost control solenoid until the system is reactivated through the faceplate controls. Programmable alarms and a ground output for an optional warning light help provide immediate notification of an overboost condition. Integrated error protection identifies a shorted or disconnected boost control solenoid. AEMnet CAN bus connectivity allows the gauge to transmit up to 13 channels of data to a compatible engine management system or data logger, including boost pressure, peak boost, boost target, scramble duty, wastegate crack pressure, overboost status, and solenoid status.
