Fuel pressure is adjustable from 2 to 20 PSI, making the Aeromotive A2000 suitable for a broad range of carbureted applications. When connected to a boost reference source, the regulator increases fuel pressure at a 1:1 ratio as boost rises, helping maintain the proper pressure differential across the carburetor fuel inlet. The regulator uses ORB-10 inlet and return ports, while Part Number 13202 includes four ORB-08 outlet ports. An AN-10 return line is required for proper bypass operation.

The Aeromotive A2000 is compatible with high-volume electric and mechanical fuel pumps and can support EFI-capable fuel system components when properly matched to the application. For high-pressure, boost-referenced systems, Aeromotive recommends using a high-volume, high-pressure pump such as the Pro-Series, Eliminator, or Belt Drive Fuel Pump.
