12 GPM Hex Drive Mechanical Fuel Pump. Designed to feed serious EFI and Carbureted engines, gasoline, ethanol or methanol. The 12 GPM Hex Drive Pump must be driven by a 3/8" female hex, allowing the pump to be driven from your camshaft or off the back of a properly prepared dry-sump oil pump. It may also be mounted off the engine, or in the back of the vehicle, driven by a Heavy Duty Cable Drive like that from Waterman Racing. It can be used in high or low pressure applications. Flows u p to 12 GPM. 5,000 HP on gas, up to 2500 HP methanol. High efficiency, Gerotor pumping mechanism. Tough, Type III hard coat anodized body. CNC Machined from 6061 T6 aircraft aluminum. The Aeromotive Atomic 12 GPM Hex Drive Mechanical Fuel Pump is designed for high-output EFI and carbureted racing engines running gasoline, ethanol, or methanol. Its direct-drive design provides efficient, reliable fuel delivery for demanding applications, supporting up to 5,000 horsepower on gasoline and up to 2,500 horsepower on methanol. The pump can be driven through a 3/8-inch female hex from the camshaft or the rear of a properly prepared dry-sump oil pump.

For installation flexibility, the Aeromotive Part Number 11117 pump may also be mounted remotely and driven with a heavy-duty cable drive, such as a Waterman Racing cable-drive system. A high-efficiency Gerotor pumping mechanism delivers flow rates up to 12 gallons per minute, while the CNC-machined 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum body and Type III hard-coat anodized finish provide durability for demanding racing environments. The hex drive collar uses a three-bolt Enderle mounting pattern, and the pump includes both a 1.25-inch barb inlet and an AN-16 male inlet option. The outlet uses an ORB-12 female port.

EFI applications require a high-flow, return-style bypass regulator. Compatible Aeromotive regulator part numbers include 13132, 13133, 13137, and 13113. An electric priming and starting kit, Aeromotive Part Number 17301, is available separately. This pump is intended for automotive racing applications and is not approved for use on emissions-controlled street vehicles.
