The aFe BladeRunner 3 in. Aluminum Hot Charge Pipe is designed for the hot-side intercooler connection on 2003–2007 Ford diesel trucks with the V8 6.0L engine. It uses factory mounting locations for stability and is designed to work with the original-equipment intercooler. The mandrel-bent aluminum tubing provides smooth transitions intended to reduce turbulence and pressure loss.

The tube features a wrinkle-black powder-coated finish to help resist heat and corrosion. A 5-ply polyester-reinforced silicone coupling and stainless steel clamps provide durable connections, while included hardware supports installation. One 1/8 in. NPT port is provided for connecting a sensor or injection system. The tube is stated to outflow the stock component by 7% and includes a welded laser-cut aFe Power logo plate.
