Its surrounded by expanded metal that provides additional protection, preventing filter collapse and direct impact. 100% Polyurethane Base & Top: This aFe POWER performance air filter is constructed with a polyurethane base and top. Unlike other materials that degrade after repeated heat cycles in an engine bay, polyurethane maintains its original molded shape. Washable Foam Pre-Filter: Just like our air filters, this 1/2 IN open cell polyurethane foam Pre-Filter (PN 28-20001) is washable and reusable. Just simply tap to remove excess debris between your usual cleanings, and then wash it with aFe POWER Cleaner when you service your air filter. The aFe 81-10068-WF Pro DRY S OE replacement air filter is designed for select Polaris RZR XP models equipped with 925cc or 1000cc engines. It combines three layers of progressive, oil-free synthetic filter media with a washable polyurethane foam pre-filter to improve filtration efficiency, dust-holding capacity, and service convenience in demanding off-road environments. Because the Pro DRY S media requires no oil during routine maintenance, cleaning and reinstallation are straightforward.

Rounded, evenly spaced deep pleats maximize usable filter surface area to support strong airflow while capturing dirt and debris. A molded-in expanded-metal screen helps protect the media from impact and prevents filter collapse. The durable 100% polyurethane base and top retain their molded shape through repeated engine-bay heat cycles, contributing to long service life. The included 1/2-inch open-cell polyurethane foam pre-filter captures larger particles before they reach the primary filter, helping extend service intervals without significantly restricting airflow. It can be tapped clean between washings and reused with aFe POWER Cleaner; aFe air filter oil may be applied for additional protection in especially dusty conditions.
