Unique One-Piece Housing: The smooth one-piece sealed housing with auxiliary air scoop is used to eliminate the use of multiple-piece housings and ensure the coolest air intake charge available. A urethane plug is also included for those cold weather applications where you want to block the auxiliary air scoop. Roto-molded Tube: This System uses a CAD designed, dyno-tuned, roto-molded intake tube to achieve maximum power gains while maintaining a perfect fit. Large 5-Layer Performance Air Filter: This Momentum GT intake system was designed around the largest filter possible to allow maximum performance and filtration. This cone inverted top filter has a massive round flange and is 8" tall inverted top Pro 5R media. The Pro 5R performance air filter features 5-layers of progressive finer mesh cotton media providing maximum airflow and performance. The unique air filter to housing interface (patent pending) allows for maximum filter size which increases the available air volume while simplifying the installation process. Premium Hardware: Premium stainless steel T-bolt clamps are used to securely mount the high flow air filter to the 1-piece airbox. The pre-oiled, washable, and reusable Pro 5R filter uses five progressively finer layers of cotton media for a balance of high airflow and filtration. The aFe Momentum GT system is rated at 450 CFM at 7 inches of water and is reported to outflow the factory intake by up to 106 percent. Installation requires no cutting or drilling of factory components, helping make this a straightforward upgrade for applicable Tacoma models.
