A custom CAD designed roto-molded housing made from heat soak resistant material eliminates the use of multiple components and ensures the coolest air intake charge available. A large clear sight window allows for filter inspection without removal of the air box. The roto-molded housing is made out of red cross-linked polyethylene. It accommodates the "Hellcat" headlight air inlet for 2015-2023 Dodge Challenger models only (requires scoop p/n 54-72203-SR). This system uses a computer designed, dyno-tuned, roto-molded intake tube to achieve maximum power gains while maintaining a perfect fit. An injection molded fitting is mounted on the tube to provide a perfect connection for the temperature sensor. This Momentum GT intake system was designed around the largest filter possible to allow maximum performance and filtration. This cone filter has a massive oval flange and is 9" tall inverted top Pro DRY S filter media. The Pro DRY S performance air filter features 3-layers of progressive finer porosity synthetic media providing maximum convenience with 100% polyurethane frame for long life and multiple cleaning cycles. Premium stainless steel T-bolt clamps and a reinforced silicone hump coupling are used for strength and durability while also providing the most secure installation available. The aFe Momentum GT Pro DRY S Cold Air Intake System is designed for 2011-2015 Dodge Challenger and Charger R/T models equipped with the 5.7L HEMI V8 engine. Part number 51-72202-R combines a heat-resistant, roto-molded red cross-linked polyethylene housing with a computer-designed intake tube to help deliver cooler, denser air to the engine. The sealed housing uses the factory air inlet location and is engineered to maintain a secure, direct-fit installation without cutting or drilling OEM components.
A built-in clear sight window allows the Pro DRY S filter to be inspected without removing the air box. The washable and reusable filter uses three layers of progressively finer synthetic media with a durable polyurethane frame, providing efficient filtration and convenient maintenance. Its large oval flange and inverted-top design maximize usable filter area while supporting strong airflow and consistent performance. The unique filter-to-housing interface is designed for straightforward assembly and a precise fit.
The aFe Momentum GT system includes a dyno-tuned intake tube, an injection-molded temperature-sensor fitting, reinforced silicone hump coupling, and premium stainless steel T-bolt clamps. These components provide dependable connections, long-term durability, and a simplified installation with fewer parts. This intake system is not CARB approved and may not be legal for use on emissions-controlled vehicles in certain states. The Hellcat headlight air inlet is not included and requires aFe scoop part number 54-72203-SR when applicable.
