A custom CAD designed roto-molded housing made from heat soak resistant material eliminates the use of multiple components and ensures the coolest air intake charge available. A large clear sight window allows for filter inspection without removal of the air box. The roto-molded housing is made out of red cross-linked polyethylene. It accommodates the "Hellcat" headlight air inlet for 2015-2023 Dodge Challenger models only (requires scoop p/n 54-72203-SR). This system uses a computer designed, dyno-tuned, roto-molded intake tube to achieve maximum power gains while maintaining a perfect fit. An injection molded fitting is mounted on the tube to provide a perfect connection for the temperature sensor. This Momentum GT intake system was designed around the largest filter possible to allow maximum performance and filtration. This cone filter has a massive oval flange and is 9" tall inverted top Pro DRY S filter media. The Pro DRY S performance air filter features 3-layers of progressive finer porosity synthetic media providing maximum convenience with 100% polyurethane frame for long life and multiple cleaning cycles. Premium stainless steel T-bolt clamps and a reinforced silicone hump coupling are used for strength and durability while also providing the most secure installation available. The aFe Momentum GT Stage-2 Cold Air Intake System is designed for Dodge Challenger and Charger R/T models equipped with the 5.7L HEMI V8 engine. Part Number 51-72202-R combines a sealed, heat-resistant airbox with a CAD-designed intake tube and a washable Pro DRY S performance air filter to improve airflow while helping protect the intake charge from engine-bay heat. The red roto-molded housing uses a one-piece design for a secure fit and includes a clear sight window, allowing filter inspection without removing the airbox.

The system is engineered around a large inverted-top, oval-flange filter with three layers of progressively finer synthetic media. This Pro DRY S filter provides effective filtration, supports multiple cleaning cycles, and uses a durable polyurethane frame for long service life. A computer-designed and dyno-tuned intake tube helps optimize airflow, while the integrated temperature-sensor fitting provides a precise connection to the factory sensor. Reinforced silicone coupling and stainless steel T-bolt clamps provide dependable connections during everyday driving and performance use.

Installation is simplified through a reduced-part design that requires no cutting or drilling of original equipment components. The housing accommodates the factory-style “Hellcat” headlight air inlet on applicable 2015–2023 Dodge Challenger models when used with aFe scoop Part Number 54-72203-SR. This intake is not CARB approved and may not be legal for use on emissions-controlled vehicles in all jurisdictions.
