The aFe Quantum Cold Air Intake System with Pro 5R Filter is designed for 2014-2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 models equipped with 5.3L or 6.2L V8 engines. The system replaces restrictive factory intake components with a high-flow design that delivers increased airflow, improved throttle response, and measurable performance gains. At the center of the system is a large, washable, and reusable aFe Pro 5R air filter featuring five layers of progressively finer cotton gauze media. This pre-oiled filter is engineered for maximum airflow and is well suited for street-driven applications. Its inverted top increases usable filter surface area to help extend service intervals, while the injection-molded construction provides a lightweight, rigid assembly. A built-in three-angle velocity stack promotes smooth, even airflow into the intake tube.
