This aFe POWER Pro 5R is a 7-1/2” tall, pre-oiled, 360-degree radial flow performance air filter with five layers of progressively finer cotton gauze media for maximum performance. It provides your engine with the largest amount of high-flowing air, usually resulting in the highest power gains out of all our filter media options. This media is perfect for street and/or track use. This system features a two-piece, computer-designed, roto-molded intake tube to achieve maximum power gains while maintaining a perfect fit. Constructed from XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) polymer, it is heat soak resistant and extremely durable. A factory-style Helmholtz Chamber is integrated into its design, toning down any drone. The sealed XLPE polymer housing features a rugged design, as well as a clear sight window, allowing for hassle-free filter inspection. aFe POWER's patent pending filter-to-housing interface eliminates the use of an overabundance of parts, further simplifying the installation process. The housing utilizes the factory air inlet, using no additional hardware, and features an optional auxiliary air inlet that pulls in additional air. The included 7-1/2-inch-tall Pro 5R filter uses five progressively finer layers of pre-oiled cotton gauze media and a 360-degree radial-flow design to support high-volume airflow for street or track use. Dyno testing shows gains of up to 10 horsepower and 8 lb.-ft. of torque, while measured flow reaches 275 CFM at 7 inches of water. The system has been shown to outflow the factory intake by 15 percent. A clear sight window allows convenient filter inspection without removing the housing.

The computer-designed, two-piece intake tube is made from durable, heat-resistant cross-linked polyethylene and incorporates a factory-style Helmholtz chamber to help reduce intake drone. The housing uses the factory air inlet and includes an optional auxiliary air inlet for additional airflow. aFe Power's filter-to-housing interface simplifies installation by reducing the number of components, while stainless-steel clamps, silicone couplings, and hardware are included.
