The Track Edition comes equipped with bullet resonators in the mid-pipes, and shares the same bespoke stainless steel stamped merge and precision engineering as its Touring Edition counterpart, minus AWE’s patented drone-canceling solution, 180 Technology®. In place of the 180 Technology® resonators in the rear are dual Track Edition straight sections. As a result, this version is known to get (really) rowdy in mid-range acceleration and deceleration and may be too much for many. Due to this reason, AWE Track Edition Exhausts cannot be returned based on sound preference. You've been warned! The AWE Tuning Track Edition Exhaust for the BMW G2X M340i and M440i is engineered for drivers seeking a raw, aggressive exhaust note and reduced weight. This system retains the original equipment tips for a stealthy factory appearance while delivering a straight-through exhaust path and increased flow. The Track Edition is designed to be significantly louder and rowdier during mid-range acceleration and deceleration than the Touring Edition.

The system uses bullet resonators in the mid-pipes, dual Track Edition straight sections in place of the Touring Edition's 180 Technology® resonators, and a bespoke stainless steel stamped merge. It is handcrafted from 3-inch CNC mandrel-bent, U.S.-made 0.065-inch-wall T304L stainless steel. A mid-pipe inlet adapter allows use with stock and aftermarket downpipes with 80mm outlets. The exhaust is designed as a direct bolt-on installation with no cutting and can be converted between Track and Touring Editions at a later date.

Maximum reported gains are 16 horsepower and 12 lb-ft of torque at the wheels with stock software, along with 65% more flow than stock. Fitment includes 2020–2022 BMW M340i and M340i xDrive models, plus 2021–2022 BMW M440i and M440i xDrive models. Due to its sound character, Track Edition Exhausts cannot be returned based on sound preference.
