The Banks Power Ram-Air differential cover kit is designed for the rear Dana M275 axle on 2017 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty applications, including the F-250 HD Tow Package and F-350 SRW. Its patented forced-air cooling design uses Ram-Air scoops and FlowThru Fins® to move air through heat-radiating fins and transfer heat from the differential fluid to the exterior of the cover. Banks states that the design cools 5X better than flat-back covers in on-road towing tests.

Fluid dynamics are engineered to reduce aeration and help guide fluid toward the ring and pinion interface, axle tubes, and bearings. Maintenance features include a sight glass for viewing fluid level, an angled fill port, and a magnetic drain plug. The cover retains stock fluid quantity and stock ground clearance, while the O-ring seal eliminates the need for messy RTV. A temperature sensor port is also included in the design, and the Ram-Air scoops are designed to break away if struck.
