The Banks Power Monster-Ram Intake System is a direct-replacement intake designed for 1998-2002 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks equipped with the 5.9L Cummins engine. Its larger, less restrictive design helps improve airflow from the intercooler, raise boost without increasing turbine drive pressure, and deliver quicker throttle response and instant torque. The system features a red powder-coated Monster-Ram intake and a 3.5-inch mandrel-bent boost tube.

Developed using computational fluid-dynamic technology, flow-bench testing, dyno testing, and real-world validation, the Monster-Ram is designed to support improved engine airflow, performance, and efficiency. It raises boost 1.23 PSI versus stock and can out-boost the competition by up to 56.9%, according to the product data.

The intake is CNC port-matched for the stock heater and the Banks Billet Heater Delete spacer. Up to six 1/8-inch NPT ports provide expansion capability for pressure, temperature, or flow sensors. The product is EPA compliant and carries CARB Executive Order D-161-107.
