A large piston, low-friction Teflon seals, and a Teflon guide bushing help the damper react quickly to small suspension movements while minimizing friction and oil temperature increase. The hardened chrome piston rod is protected by a steel dust cover, while the triple-lip NBR rod seal helps defend the internal components from contaminants.
