The 2.25" diameter into dual 2" system replaces the stock rear muffler and is a direct bolt-on part for ease of installation. Specifically tuned for the 2.5L Skyactiv engines, our S-Type Axle-Back delivers a sportier sound and a more exciting driving experience without any drone. It features 4" round black chrome on T-304 stainless steel exhaust tips that properly fill out the rear bumper cutouts. Using Borla(r) Stainless Steel Polish p# 21499 is NOT recommended with these black chrome tips. We suggest cleaning the tips with hot water and a microfiber cloth. A system with bright chrome on T-304 stainless steel tips are also available. Designed for fourth-generation Mazda 3 sedans, this direct bolt-on system replaces the factory rear muffler and is tuned specifically for 2.5L Skyactiv engines, including naturally aspirated and turbocharged applications. The S-Type muffler produces a sportier exhaust note and engaging driving experience while maintaining a comfortable, drone-free cabin.

The Borla 11982BC features a 2.25-inch inlet flowing into a dual 2-inch outlet configuration and includes 4-inch round black chrome exhaust tips constructed from T-304 stainless steel. These tips are shaped to properly complement the factory rear bumper openings. For maintenance, Borla recommends cleaning the black chrome tips with hot water and a microfiber cloth rather than using Borla Stainless Steel Polish, part number 21499. A bright chrome tip version is also available separately.

Compatible with automatic or manual transmissions and front-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive configurations where applicable. This system is not intended for Mazda 3 hatchback models.
