We suggest cleaning the tips with hot water and a microfiber cloth. Bright chrome on T-304 stainless steel and carbon fiber tips are also available. Designed for 6.2L V8 models with automatic transmissions, two- or four-wheel drive, and factory split rear-exit configurations, this system delivers Borla's aggressive ATAK sound while maintaining a clean, full-bodied exhaust note with no interior drone. The system is not compatible with ZR2 or AT4X models and requires removal of the factory valance tips during installation.

The 3.5-inch exhaust tubing transitions into a dual 2.75-inch outlet configuration and uses Borla's patented Polyphonic Harmonizer Technology. Internal pipes with different diameters and lengths create multiple exhaust notes that harmonize for a rich, controlled tone. If a quieter S-Type sound is preferred, the Polyphonic Harmonizer behind the muffler can be replaced with Borla muffler 60679. Black chrome T-304 stainless steel tips provide a distinctive finish; clean them with hot water and a microfiber cloth, as Borla Stainless Steel Polish part number 21499 is not recommended for these tips.
