This 2.25" True Dual BORLA® Cat-Back™ system was designed specifically for the Frontier equipped with 3.8L engine. The muffler contains an internal H-Pipe for increased performance and improved sound. The system features an updated version (compared to 140919) of the classic S-Type sound that delivers a powerful performance sound with no drone. The system has 2 full Tail Pipes (Not a single tail pipe with dual tips). It features a single 4" round black chrome on T-304 stainless steel tip on each tail pipe. Using BORLA® Stainless Steel Polish p# 21499 is NOT recommended with these black chrome tips. We suggest cleaning the tips with hot water and a microfiber cloth. A system is also available with bright chrome on T-304 stainless steel tips. A High Clearance Climber / Rock Crawler system is also available. The Borla 140984BC features an updated S-Type sound compared with part number 140919, delivering a powerful performance tone without excessive interior drone. Its muffler incorporates an internal H-pipe to improve exhaust balance, velocity, and overall performance. Unlike systems that use one tail pipe with dual tips, this design includes two full tail pipes with dual side exits. Each tail pipe terminates in a 4-inch round black chrome tip constructed from T-304 stainless steel. To help preserve the finish, Borla recommends cleaning the tips with hot water and a microfiber cloth rather than Stainless Steel Polish part number 21499.
