Designed for factory split rear exit vehicles, this system delivers Borla’s aggressive ATAK sound while improving exhaust flow and providing a durable, precisely engineered replacement for the factory exhaust. It fits automatic-transmission, two-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive applications, including Extended Cab models with the standard bed and Crew Cab models with the short bed, as specified in the fitment details.

The 3.5-inch inlet transitions into a dual 2.75-inch exhaust system featuring Borla’s Polyphonic Harmonizer Technology. Patented harmonizer units use tubes with different diameters and lengths to produce multiple exhaust notes that blend into a clean, rich, full-bodied sound without unwanted interior drone. A valve simulator is included to help prevent the Check Engine Light from illuminating. For a quieter S-Type sound level, replace the Polyphonic Harmonizer behind the muffler with Borla muffler 60679.

Constructed from premium T-304 austenitic stainless steel, the Borla 140996 is built for long-term corrosion resistance and dependable performance. Straight-through, multi-core technology and smooth mandrel bends help maintain exhaust velocity, while computer-controlled manufacturing provides accurate fitment. Exhaust tips are not included; reuse the factory tips. Crew Cab models with the standard bed and a 157-inch wheelbase require Borla Adapter 60706. This system is not compatible with ZR2 or AT4X models and fits factory split rear exit configurations only. Borla backs the system with its Million-Mile Warranty.
