Replace the Polyphonic Harmonizer behind the muffler in this ATAK system with muffler 60679 to attain the S-Type sound level (quieter than ATAK). This system features dual 3.5" round carbon fiber tips with black anodized centers on each tail pipe. Installation REQUIRES removal of the Factory Valance Tips. Systems with bright chrome on T-304 stainless tips, carbon fiber tips, and systems that reuse the original equipment tips are also available. Designed for 6.2L V8 models with automatic transmissions, two- or four-wheel drive, and factory split rear exit exhaust, this system delivers Borla’s aggressive ATAK sound while maintaining a clean, full-bodied tone without interior drone. The integrated valve simulator helps prevent the Check Engine Light from activating after installation.

This 3.5-inch inlet to dual 2.75-inch outlet exhaust system uses Borla’s patented Polyphonic Harmonizer Technology. Pipes with different diameters and lengths work together to create multiple exhaust notes that harmonize for a refined yet powerful sound. The system is manufactured from premium T-304 stainless steel for excellent corrosion resistance and long-term durability. Straight-through, multi-core muffler technology, smooth mandrel bends, and precision CNC manufacturing help improve exhaust flow, support power gains, and provide an accurate fit. Dual 3.5-inch round carbon fiber tips with black anodized centers complete the installation with a distinctive appearance.

Fitment includes Extended Cab models with the standard bed and 147.4-inch wheelbase, as well as Crew Cab models with the short bed and 147.4-inch wheelbase. This system does not fit ZR2 or AT4X models and is intended for factory split rear exit vehicles only. Installation requires removal of the factory valance tips. Crew Cab models with the standard bed and 157-inch wheelbase require Borla Adapter 60706. For a quieter S-Type sound level, replace the Polyphonic Harmonizer behind the muffler with Borla Muffler 60679. The system is backed by Borla’s Million-Mile Warranty.

Fitment includes the 2024-2026 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 equipped with the 6.2L V8, automatic transmission, two- or four-wheel drive, factory split rear exit, and the applicable cab and bed configurations.
