Un-Notched necks are designed for weld in installation. If clamping, use 3" wide band clamps 18006. Alternate muffler with Notched necks is 400500. Use 1" wide band clamps 18330. The Borla 400436 Turbo XL Specialty Muffler is designed for truck, SUV, and other applications requiring a long-body muffler. This universal muffler features a 3-inch center inlet and 3-inch center outlet, with a reversible design that provides installation flexibility. Its un-notched necks are intended for weld-in installation; when clamping is preferred, Borla recommends using 3-inch wide-band clamps, part number 18006. For an alternate notched-neck configuration, use Borla part number 400500 with 1-inch wide-band clamps, part number 18330.

Built from high-quality T-304 austenitic stainless steel, the Borla 400436 offers excellent corrosion resistance and long-term durability. Its fully welded construction provides strength, while the free-flow design supports improved exhaust performance. High-temperature continuous-filament fiber acoustic material helps control sound without restricting exhaust flow. The natural mill finish can be brushed or polished before installation, allowing the muffler to complement a wide range of custom exhaust systems.

The Borla Turbo XL features a 6.75-inch round body, a 24-inch body length, and a 29-inch overall length. It is made in the USA and backed by Borla's Million-Mile Warranty. This heavy-duty muffler is a universal component and may require custom exhaust fabrication for proper fitment. It is not CARB approved and does not include vehicle-specific fitment hardware.
