The Borla 401158 Specialty Muffler is designed for trucks, SUVs, and other applications requiring a long-body muffler with a 2.75-inch center inlet and center outlet. Its reversible design provides installation flexibility, while the notched necks support clamp-on installation with compatible 1-inch-wide band clamps. Clamps are not included. This muffler was previously sold under part number 19131346 and is considered a Touring-style alternative to the Borla 400130 when used on the same application.

Constructed from high-quality T-304 stainless steel, the Borla 401158 offers excellent corrosion resistance and long-term durability. Its fully welded construction adds strength, and the free-flow design supports improved exhaust performance. High-temperature continuous-filament fiber acoustic material helps control sound for a refined exhaust note without restricting flow. The natural mill finish can be brushed or polished before installation, allowing additional finish customization.

This universal muffler features a 7.75-inch round body, a 24-inch body length, and a 29-inch overall length. The notched-neck configuration is intended for use with 1-inch-wide band-style clamps such as Borla 18327. For applications requiring an un-notched neck, Borla 401665 is the alternate muffler; when clamping that configuration, use 3-inch-wide band clamps such as Borla 18005.
