It features a straight through performance design and is constructed of T-304 stainless steel for high durability. It utilizes continuous -filament fiber (CFF) acoustic material for sound control. Natural mill finish can be brushed or polished prior to installation. As with all Borla® mufflers and resonators, it is made in the USA and is covered by the Million-Mile Warranty. Un-notched necks are intended for weld-in installation; if clamping is preferred, Borla recommends using 3-inch-wide band clamps, such as part number 18006. Clamps are not included.

The Borla 401339 is not vehicle-specific, so professional installation and exhaust-system compatibility should be confirmed before purchase. An alternate resonator with notched necks is Borla 401343, which uses 1-inch-wide band clamps, part number 18330.
