Notched necks are designed for clamp in installation using 1" wide band style clamps 18330 (clamps not included). Alternate muffler with Un-Notched neck is 401663. Reversible design for installation flexibility. High-quality T-304 austenitic stainless steel for superior corrosion resistance. 100% welded construction for strength. The Borla 401662 Specialty Muffler is designed for trucks, SUVs, and other applications requiring a long-body muffler. Its Touring-style design provides controlled sound while supporting efficient exhaust flow and dependable performance. The universal muffler features a 3-inch center inlet and 3-inch center outlet, making it suitable for custom exhaust installations where the inlet and outlet are aligned.

Constructed from high-quality T-304 austenitic stainless steel, the Borla 401662 offers excellent corrosion resistance and long-term durability. Its 100% welded construction adds strength, while the free-flow design helps reduce exhaust restriction. High-temperature continuous-filament fiber acoustic material provides sound control and durability under demanding exhaust temperatures. The natural mill finish may be brushed or polished before installation.

The reversible design provides installation flexibility, and the notched necks are intended for clamp-in installation using 1-inch-wide band-style clamps such as Borla 18330; clamps are not included. This universal muffler has a 24-inch body and a 29-inch overall length. The Borla 401662 is made in the USA and backed by Borla's Million-Mile warranty. An alternate version with un-notched necks is available as Borla 401663.
