Un-notched necks are designed for weld in installation. Alternate muffler with Notched neck is 401662. Use 1" wide band style clamps 18330 (clamps not included). Reversible design for installation flexibility. High-quality T-304 austenitic stainless steel for superior corrosion resistance. 100% welded construction for strength. Free Flow design for improved performance. High-temperature continuous-filament fiber (CFF) acoustic material for sound control. Natural mill finish can be brushed or polished prior to installation. Its Touring sound profile provides controlled sound output while supporting improved exhaust flow compared with restrictive factory-style designs. The universal muffler uses a 3-inch center inlet and 3-inch center outlet, with a reversible configuration that provides installation flexibility.

Constructed from high-quality T-304 austenitic stainless steel, the Borla 401663 offers excellent corrosion resistance and long-term durability. Its 100% welded construction adds strength, while high-temperature continuous-filament fiber acoustic material helps manage exhaust sound. The natural mill finish may be brushed or polished before installation. Un-notched necks are intended for weld-in installation. For clamp-on installation, use Borla 1-inch-wide-band clamps, part number 18330; clamps are not included. The alternate notched-neck muffler is Borla 401662.
