Installation REQUIRES cutting the driver side Original Equipment (O.E.) tail pipe assembly. This 3" diameter BORLA® mid-section is a True Dual design and was tuned specifically for the Ram TRX. It features the aggressive ATAK® sound and provides a more exciting driving experience without any drone. The mid-section contains Borla's unique SwitchFire® X-Pipe technology that eliminates the turbulent center intersection of a standard X-Pipe while truly blending the combustion pulses from both sides of the engine for increased performance and improved sound. The sound is further tuned via our Polyphonic Harmonizer Technology which utilizes patented units that contain pipes of different diameters and lengths to create multiple exhaust notes that harmonize to deliver a clean, rich, full-bodied sound. Brief Description: Upgrade the exhaust character and performance of your 2021-2024 Ram 1500 TRX with the Borla 60717 ATAK mid-section. Designed as a true dual exhaust component, this 3-inch connecting pipe assembly features Borla SwitchFire X-Pipe technology and Polyphonic Harmonizer technology for aggressive sound, improved exhaust flow, and a full-bodied tone without unwanted drone. The assembly is engineered specifically for the 6.2L V8, automatic transmission, four-wheel-drive Crew Cab with a short bed.

Installation requires cutting the driver-side original equipment tail pipe assembly. The original equipment over-axle pipes and tailpipes are reused with the Borla 60717 mid-section, along with the factory exhaust tips or optional Borla tips. The original equipment tailpipes are resonance-free pipes that help control drone and resonance during cruising. Professional installation is recommended because modification of the original equipment exhaust is required.

Constructed from premium T-304 stainless steel, the Borla 60717 is built for long-term durability and corrosion resistance. Smooth mandrel bends help maintain consistent exhaust flow, while precision CNC manufacturing supports accurate fitment.
