Its reversible design also allows installation in systems with dual inlets and a single outlet, providing flexibility for custom exhaust builds and replacement applications. The muffler uses a 3-inch center inlet with dual 2.25-inch outlets and a compact oval body configuration for versatile under-vehicle installation.

Constructed from high-quality T-304 austenitic stainless steel, the Borla ProXS delivers excellent corrosion resistance and durable service life. Its 100% welded construction supports strength and reliability, while the free-flow internal design helps improve exhaust flow and performance. High-temperature continuous-filament fiber acoustic material provides controlled sound attenuation without unnecessarily restricting the exhaust system. The natural mill finish may be brushed or polished before installation for a customized appearance.

The un-notched necks are intended for weld-in installation. For clamped installation, use 3-inch-wide clamps, including Borla 18003 and 18006; clamps are not included. An alternate version with notched necks is available as Part Number 400486 and uses band clamps 18322 and 18330. This universal Borla ProXS muffler is made in the USA and backed by Borla's Million-Mile Warranty. Fitment is universal and may require vehicle-specific fabrication, exhaust tubing, hangers, and additional installation hardware.
