The Borla ProXS Muffler 400478 is a universal performance muffler designed for custom exhaust systems requiring a 2.25-inch offset inlet and 2.25-inch center outlet. Its oval body and reversible configuration provide installation flexibility for a wide range of automotive applications. Notched necks support clamp-on installation with compatible 1-inch-wide band clamps, while the free-flow design helps reduce exhaust restriction and promote efficient performance.

Constructed from high-quality T-304 austenitic stainless steel, the Borla ProXS 400478 delivers excellent corrosion resistance and long-term durability. This universal Borla muffler is made in the USA and backed by Borla's Million-Mile Warranty. The design is reversible, allowing the muffler to be oriented according to the available exhaust-system layout. Use 1-inch-wide band clamps, such as Borla 18322, for clamp-in installation; clamps are not included. For an un-notched-neck alternative, consider Borla part 40357, which uses 3-inch-wide band clamps.
