Built from premium austenitic stainless steel, this racing muffler uses Borla’s patented, race-proven XR-1 Raceline flow-through technology to help reduce exhaust restriction while maintaining a quieter driver compartment. The round configuration is well suited for door car, roadster, and other racing applications where installation space is limited.

Featuring a 3-inch center inlet and 3-inch center outlet, the Borla XR-1 Sportsman muffler has a compact 5-inch round body and is designed for flexible installation. Its reversible design allows the inlet and outlet orientation to be selected according to the vehicle’s exhaust layout. Un-notched necks support weld-in installation; when clamping is preferred, Borla recommends a 3-inch wide-band clamp such as part 18006. This is a universal automotive muffler and may require custom fabrication for proper fitment.
