Clutch Masters - clmDCT-216-AL - Chevy LS to BMW DCT Aluminum Flywheel with Sprung Hub

Description Building on the success of our OE replacement BMT DCT flywheels and the numerous requests we've received from people wanting to utilize our robust heavy duty sprung hub in their projects, we thought we'd just do the hard work for you and offer you a flywheel and adapter plate. This flywheel is designed specifically to be used with our LS to DCT adapter plate but could also work with other adapter plates on the market as long as they are 1-3/8" thick. This flywheel is specifically to be used in the 6 Cylinder application DCTs. This flywheel is used in conjunction with an automatic flexplate that will need to be purchased separately. This flywheel is designed for all 6 bolt crank LS engines. We also offer an 8 bolt crank flywheel (DCT-253-AL) Aluminum Flywheel Included

The Clutch Masters clmDCT-216-AL aluminum flywheel is designed for Chevy LS engines using six-cylinder application DCT transmissions. It is intended for use with the Clutch Masters LS-to-DCT adapter plate and may also work with other adapter plates that are 1-3/8 inches thick. The flywheel is designed for all six-bolt crank LS engines.

Developed with a robust heavy-duty sprung hub, this flywheel supports improved performance and quicker engine revs while helping reduce turbo lag in turbocharged vehicles. It features CNC machining, precision balancing and an SFI certification. The replaceable steel insert friction surface eliminates the need to resurface the flywheel.

An automatic flexplate is required for use and must be purchased separately. This product is intended for six-cylinder application DCTs. Clutch Masters also offers an eight-bolt crank flywheel, part number DCT-253-AL.
